News : The AGN Crisis Is Solely Caused And Sponsored By Eric Anderson.

Report Has Shown That Eric Anderson [Commissioner For Tourism, Cross River State] Has Been Working So Hard To Bring Down The Whole Structure Of The Actors Guild Of Nigeria [AGN] For His Selfish Reason Which Is Bias, Unfair and Repugnant To Public Policy, Democracy And Good Conscience.

This is the reason why he is presently facing an injunction from the court reportedly engineered by Mrs. Monica Udofia. This injunction is restricting him and his faction from all activities in the the name of AGN.

To this end stake holders have condemned the fitness walk that was supposed to hold this weekend - The fitness walk is a product of a malicious faction therefore it is illegal.

Below Are Some Facts Gotten From
A Research Made By Some Information Expert, Concerning The Conflict.

A new 'faction' state executive of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has emerged in Cross River State and Mr. Eric Anderson, the current Commissioner of Culture and Tourism is reportedly behind the faction’s emergence. The guild’s chaos began in 2014 after a revolutionary motion by travel documentary filmmaker and international video journalist Obaji Abung-Akpet, then a strong member of the guild, was moved for the suspension of the state executive following a huge financial misappropriation, with Anderson, the current commissioner of culture then the state chairman.

According to CrossRiverWatch.com, the suspension of Anderson led exco followed a chaotic failed re-election bid recognised by AGN-National to have been won by Monica Udofia, Anderson’s former financial secretary. This election held on the 15 of February 2014.

Anderson’s failed re-election bid did not to go down well with him (Anderson) hence his establishment of a faction executive led by Maureen Ekpenyong later on the 18 of Februray that same year, with himself Anderson completely stepping out of the guild’s scene to mind a political ambition for Cross River State House of Assembly, which he also failed to get, but was later penciled for political appointments up to becoming the commissioner of tourism.

Mr. Anderson, at some point was said to have publicly shunned the Ekpenyong led administration and thrown his weight behind Udofia led state exco but could not dissolve the faction exco he created because Ekpenyong, the leader of the faction became power drunk than Anderson originally anticipated.

As years went by, in 2017 Joe Esse, popular filmmaker, Jetta Amata’s understudy picked interest in Udofia’s seat but lost in a spiting unanticipated landslide victory; and decided to also take to grievance ways.

Recently, Esse came back with his election bid to topple Udofia’s tenure that is yet to conclude. To actualize his goal on a clean slate, Esse decided to align with Ekpenyong’s faction; a purported secret election was conducted on the 17 of July this year and as anticipated Esse emerged unopposed. This election was only made public yesterday.

Esse’s led faction exco is since constituted of Queen Zoey Ansa as Vice Chairperson; Moses Ekpedeme as secretary; Starro Eno as Public Relations officer; John Udang as Financial Secretary; Ekpo Daniel as Director of Guild Services; Effiowan Ekpenyong as Chief Whip; Arikpo Williams as Treasurer; Raymond Ngboma as assistant secretary.
The faction secret election held at Etaval Hotel in Calabar and claiming to align with Emeka Rollas led national AGN administration.
